After knee surgery put Pam’s soccer future in jeopardy, a chiropractor turned her on to Pilates, and she’s been a devotee ever since. A few years of studying convinced Pam to take her practice to the next level, and after nine months of training and apprenticeship, she completed her STOTT PILATES® Level II certification in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels in 2013. Pam has a special interest in athletic injuries and rehabilitation, and in the connection between body, mind and voice. Her additional training includes Therapeutic Pilates through Pilates Process and ELDOA Level I.
Originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Pam is an actor and writer, with an MFA from the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago. Her background in movement includes Feldenkrais training, clown and mask work, various forms of dance, and physical theatre. Pam is also a Coach U trained life coach and a member of the International Coach Federation. At Soar Personal Coaching, she coaches a variety of writers, artists and entrepreneurs through the creative process, and 2017 marks the launch of Realign, body+mind+voice integrated coaching programs.
